Team Automatons was founded in 2019 and is GALA's first middle school robotics team. The Automatons compete in the FIRST LEGO League Challenge alongside their sister team, Coders G. The  FIRST LEGO league challange requires them to build and code a LEGO robot to complete missions in the robot game. Throughout the year, the girls learn research, problem-solving, and teamwork skills in a fun and supportive environment.
